Application area
Hydragel is used as a spray for the preliminary preservation of contaminated and soiled medical instruments (including surgical and dental instruments). The product is used when a contaminated instrument needs to be isolated quickly as a source of infection risk, when immediate on-site treatment of the used item is difficult and takes time, or when soiled items need to be transported safely.Product features
- Soiled instruments can be covered immediately after use.
- When sprayed onto contaminated instruments, it forms an enveloping protective film that stops the growth and spread of microorganisms and prevents organic soiling from becoming fixed.
- The product's microbiostatic effect lasts for 5 days.
- The product dissolves readily in water and in working solutions of other chemicals, so it rinses off easily. Soiling does not become fixed on instruments under the gel, so subsequent cleaning is not impeded.
- Can be used on instruments made of various materials, except copper and brass.
